Pengy Penguin

Pengy the Penguin is a 3' 1" Penguin who originally hails from the North Pole. He doesn't talk, but he does speak Penguin, which involves a series of Wing Flaps & Dance Moves. Pengy is very calm, cool, and collected. He's incredibly intelligent, although most people would never notice this.

Pengy arrived in Illinois through a series of Accidents. During his travels he ended up befriending Cactus Joe the Clown. Despite their Obvious Physical, Emotional, and Mental Differences, Joe and Pengy's shared love of Comics, Film, and Art in general have made them the Best of Buds. They are currently roommates living in an Old House in Mud Village, IL. Pengy has aspirations of Being a Pro Tap Dancer, but frankly jobs in his field have been few and far between. In order to make some scratch, Joe and Pengy do odd jobs around town.

Pengy is Loyal to a fault and, despite his size, can be very brave. He is not overly trusting, but when he warms up to someone, he is a friend for life. Pengy's romantic interests are completely unknown. It has been hinted that he may be attracted to human women, but this may be related to Pengy's Love of Melodic Voices as opposed to real physical attraction. In fact, it's unknown whether there are even any other penguins like Pengy in existence. Frankly, none of this seems to bug Pengy at all.

Pengy loves Seafood, but thanks to his friendship with Cactus Joe, Pengy has developed a taste for Spicy Mexican style food as well. Pengy's all time favorite movie is "John Carpenter's The Thing" (he likes the scenery almost as much as the monster). His all time favorite TV series is "Twin Peaks," and his favorite comic book is a current tie between "Watchmen" and the Japanese "Uzamaki."
