My Windshield is Caked with Salt
For starters, it appears that I have Officially been added to the list of exhibitors for the SPACE Con. For details on SPACE, and to see the Link back to this very site, check out www.backporchcomics.com/space.htm. I'm going to Ohio, baby! Woo!
Course, I still gotta secure my hotel reservation, budget a decent chunk of change for the trip, and start getting promotional items ready. The big task for the con will be that I'm going to try to have an exclusive mini-comic ready before then. That'll take some time out of the old schedule. Oh well, anything to get people to stop and check out the book, right?
Comics that I picked up this week include the latest issues of Batman/Superman, Supreme Power, JLA Classified, and New X-Men. They're all decent, but none really tripped my trigger enough to warrant a review.
On the other hand, the new Shonen Jump came out this week. "Naruto" is still kickin' ass and taking names, as this issue the dreaded Sound Ninjas definately recieve a little comeupance, Sakura finally does a little fighting, and Sasuke finally wakes up. Damn fine stuff, worth the price of admission alone.
Except, we also get an installment of "One Piece" as well, which is worth the price of admission three times over. With his boss, Chef Zef held hostage, Sanji the ass-kicking cook is at the mercy of Krieg's pirate gang. Through a flashback we finally learn the history between Sanji and Zeff. Or at least part of the history, the damn flashback ends on a cliffhanger. The words I am learning to dread most in every issue of One Piece are, "To Be Continued...".

Yeah, Naruto rocked my socks off last night. Didn't wake up early enough today to finish this issue, which may be cool, cause it means if I want, I can take it the hellspital, although I'll probably not do it.
Found some Gaiman's Mirrormask stuff. It's linked on my blog.
