A Public Service Announcement
"WE3" is a three issue, Mature Readers, full color mini-series published through DC/Vertigo. It is written by Grant Morrison (JLA, Doom Patrol, The Filth, New X-Men, The Invisibles, Sea Guy, ect) with art by Frank Quietly (Authority, New X-Men, ect). The first two issues are currently available through any comic shop that doesn't have its head up its ass. The story is fairly simple, an experimental government weapons program has transformed an ordinary dog, cat, and rabbit into a trio of cyborg killing machines called WE3. The idea is to produce an expendable, remote controlled army that will ultimately remove loss of human life from war. But, as we all know, theory and practice are two entirely different things, and things go wrong fast. The story by Grant Morrison is utterly brilliant, and the art by Frank Quietly is jawdroppingly, breathtakingly, asskickingly kick ass. If you are not reading this book I feel sorry for you and the small world you inhabit.
In other news, the Cardinals choked, which doesn't come as a huge surprise, even though I don't even watch baseball I saw it coming. The new comic "The Intimates" (DC/Wildstorm, story by Joe Casey, art by uh, can't remember) may be the best or worst new comic I've seen in awhile. It's got one more issue to wow me. I've been watching alot of PBS lately. On a side note, I can see three new colors that weren't originally present in the color spectrum. I call the pretty one "Glurple".

So, I live in a small world if I don't read comics? Man... All this time I thought it was my job that kept me from scoring with the ladies. Thanks Mr. Comic Man. I shall purchase this series and go forth, educated and capable of conquering the world.
As well you should, Mr. Anal-nonymus. You probabaly never score with the ladies due to your faceless ego and smarmy comments. Joe, I never got #2 of We3 yet...is #3 out already?
As for my asinine comment: Gwyneth Paltrow is actaully hotter now that she gained an extra ten pounds due to child birth. Gambit still sucks.
Damn. Now that's just funny. Much like the Pulled Pork Incident of '02, was it?, I gottta be the ass that sits on our shoulders and bring it up constantly. Here I'm refering to the Internet Nut Sack Debacle of '04. Some punk says some jack ass thing, and Joe retaliates because if this kid can be an ass, so can Joe. I take a moral high ground, like a dick, none of us realize there's tons of humorous sarcasm flying around, and our lines of communication break down.
How's that apply here? Hoe makes a comment about/insult about the size of a generalized "you's" world, most likely in humor, someone makes a comment, again, most likely in humor, and Boolah let's fly with an insult that's really easy to take as completely non-humorous. So much for those Bible quotes, eh? Can't Blog War the friends, but an anonymous poster that may not even return is fair game...
Course, this is part Blog War, part 3 hours of sleep in almost as many days. I'm disappointed that no one has fired a Bdub shot in almost two weeks, meself included. Such is life.
